We have been involved in the sourcing of tooling from the Asian region for many years. During this time we have established an understanding of the abilities of many different mould making shops in the region.  

Once a product design has been finalised, we establish the customers intention for the product and the anticipated quantities required through the lifetime of the tooling.  If these criteria are not analysed at the outset it may lead to tooling being built that is far in excess of what is required. We have clients whose requirements are vastly different, ranging from 800 components a year for high value specialised components through to 100's of thousands of units per year for basic consumer mouldings.

Tooling design will then be based on the requirements established.  Once the tooling design is complete it is available for client approval.

Ultimately tooling may be shipped to a customers factory for them to manufacture the end product, or we can arrange the moulding either offshore of in our own facilities.
